Nature Lovers

Currumbin wildlife sanctuary Gold CoastVisiting the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a must - you can see hundreds of native Australian animals in natural bushland and rainforest settings. Experience the rare opportunity to get closer to Australia’s amazing native wildlife. And the Green Challenge high ropes adventure course will certainly challenge your stamina. Currumbin is owned by  the National Trust of Queensland, it’s a not-for-profit organization and all the proceeds from your visit are reinvested in the care of the animals and their environment. Drive 80 minutes North and you’ll be at Australia Zoo, the home of the crocodile hunter & Steve Iwrin. You can cuddle a koala, hand feed an Asian elephant or walk with a Sumatran tiger. It’s too close to miss.
